As a creative problem solver, I've worked on various projects, leading me to become the art director I am today. I'm happy to discuss my experiences further.
AdsEnRoute was likely the first car wrap company in Calgary. I led the creative direction, design, and photography, and was responsible for the ideation and production of all car wraps and client pitches. We pushed the boundaries of large format 3D design and experimented with the 3M materials. I worked with clients such as Subway, Famous Players, and United Way. In addition, I created in-house promo vehicles, famously transforming a PT Cruiser into a city bus using photography and graphic design.
I created the clothing brand "BullShirt" featuring t-shirts, shorts, and dress shirts with unique "BullShirt" art and slogans. I used embroidery, direct printing, and silk screening to manufacture the clothes. I negotiated prices to produce and purchase the clothing and used the brand alongside clients' logos/branding during Stampede events. The "BullShirt" brand was also sold as a standalone product for all bull fans. The brand's graphic design was inspired by long-horned bulls.
I worked with professional clients like Dr. Scholten and his organization NUCCA. My responsibilities included developing brand assets such as logos, fonts, and colours, as well as creating written and image content. I provided style guides to ensure consistency in their branding, and produced various marketing materials for their good health and upper cervical treatments and services, including flyers, direct-mail assets, cards, and manuals
Hitched & Hatched was a photography service that specializes in weddings and portraits, with a website designed using WordPress. They produce both photography and written content.
I provided photography services for events, special projects, and portrait sessions for both private and commercial purposes. Additionally, I designed and created books for presentation and archival purposes.
The Mess Dinner is a significant tradition of the Canadian Forces. Its purpose is to celebrate and honor the traditions of the military, pay tribute to fallen soldiers, and motivate new recruits. I have documented this event for three years and have proposed the creation of books to help preserve its history and tradition.
I worked with SWIMCO as a photographer, art director, and designer. My responsibilities included producing photography both on location and in the studio, managing a team of 10-15 people, and producing photography in Hawaii for four consecutive seasons. I also helped in the production and logistics of photography abroad in the USA. In addition to this, I assembled the creative team for the layout and design of the flyers and designed in-store signage, bus boards, and other assets. This experience was an important step in my career and helped me grow as a professional artist.
Just to name a few clients- Hopewell, BriMor, Qualico, Melcore, Lavita.
I provide photography, videography, and art direction services for community developers, working with marketing managers to produce marketing materials. I create scenarios, scout locations, and style sets, find talent, and streamline the process to be cost-efficient. I assembled teams of stylists, makeup artists, and assistants to help with production and handled all post-editing and photo stylization.
